Motivation

Last week as I started yet another round of Body 4 Believers I was a little discouraged. Worried about how well I would do this time around. And I was worried about no MOTIVATION!

Motivation has always been my biggest struggle! Always the one thing that has stopped me from doing B4B and sticking to it! So I set out to find the best motivation around! I went straight to Pinterest! The holy grail of motivational quotes. For around a month now I have been following this girl on Instagram. She is on a weight loss journey her self. She was 500lbs and has lost 83 so far! That is an inspiration to me. Seeing how well she has done and that anything is possible if I stick to it really helped me!

Here I go… I have been walking for a little over a week now. I do not walk every day nor do I exercise everyday! I love the idea of exercising but always hated actually doing it! I have invested in a few electronics to make walking and exercising a little easier! I bought a Nike + fitness tracker so that I could count my miles! This thing works great! I have an iPhone but the only issue is that for some reason the product does not sync to Health on the iPhone. I recently bought a Fitbug Orb. I was kind of skeptical at first. I wanted a fitbit but of course I did not want to spend the money on it. If I was planning on stopping it would not be worth the cost! So this fitbug is actually okay! A few minor adjustments could be made to the app to make things easier but overall it does the simple job. The Fitbug Orb is actually around $50. But I was lucky and I found it at a return store on sale for 15!! Not really too much of a waste of money!

Other fitness things I have bought.. A toning band for my stomach, an exercise ball, a few capri bottoms to walk in, and sports bras. I am excited to use my exercise ball seeing as I bought it today I haven’t had a chance to use it!

The most important thing I bought was a new scale! The other morning I stepped on the scale and it said I had lost 15 lbs already. I was unsure how accurate this actually was . So I bought a new digital scale. I stepped on and off that scale probably around 10 times to make sure I was reading the numbers correctly! I had actually lost 16 lbs! That was a complete shock to me! And I am continuing to lose! I can for sure tell I have lost weight and inches. I do not really want to do my measuring just yet! Giving it a few more weeks!

To date I am 290 lbs! I am down 17 lbs already and can’t wait to lose more!

That being said… If you have any questions about what I am doing please just ask! Body 4 Believers is a great program that works for me! No supplements. Just real food and better combinations! Also No I do not work for Body 4 Believers. I just feel that everyone should have the opportunity to know what it is!

Beauty and the Beast

Train like a beast to look like a beauty.

Tonight I found this quote. I do not know who came up with this but it is amazing! I have been struggling a lot to stay on track. I have not worked out in 2 weeks! I keep thinking man I need to go work out! or do something. BUT yet again here I sit… not doing a dang thing! I feel like I am losing my motivation! Although it is always on my mind how I want to lose weight! I just need help getting my motivation!

Help me out and give me some tips!! All would be greatly appreciated!

Workout!

Tonight is my 3rd day of working out! I have decided that I will not work out on weekends. But I worked out extra tonight to make up a little!! Since starting my work out I have lost a little over 3lbs! I am excited even about that little bit! It is a good start!

This weekend I will hopefully get new shoes! I have picked out a couple of pairs! These shoe are 4 years old.. Seeing as I never work out they have served their purpose till now. Since I paid 25$ for these I think it is time for a new pair! Looking forward to getting them and showing them off!!
I am also looking forward to losing more weight! And working on eating better!!

Motivation

This is my hardest problem! I have the greatest desire to lose weight but no motivation! I know how happy it would make me! This is the most difficult part! I need some kind of motivation! I have started working out and trying to eat healthier! Removing things and being healthier is hard when you go to a school that required you to pay for a meal plan. The salad is not always good and the food is seriously not ever healthy! I am going to use my goals as my motivation as well as the encouragement of my followers and those who view my blog! I can’t wait for this to take off like a rocket!!! I would like to do a fast but I am unsure how it works. Trying to find out more before I try this! I would not like to be an unhealthy weight loss or habit! So I will be doing a lot of research about fasting!

New to This

I have had plenty of blogs but not many worth mentioning or writing on constantly. This blog is about my journey through weight loss! To open up ab my weight and who I am is difficult. So please bare with me as I get to the point of not caring ab what others say if it is negative!
I just graduated from a leadership program for women in the state of Alabama. Called Leading Edge Institute! LEI is one of the greatest leadership programs for women in the state of Alabama! Through out this journey of life I plan to talk about my leadership ideas and where I see change could occur.
In a few short months I will be graduating from College. I am not sure I really know who I am! I feel like that is something that is very discouraging to me. Because when you go off to college isn’t that what you are suppose to do? Find who you are and the things you believe. I think once I graduate I will have a better understanding of who I am!
I would appreciate encouragement through out my journey of weight loss, leadership, and discovery! In the post to follow I will explain myself better!
